Next Up

2025 is about community for MYMF. Our first event is a time for artists of different disciplines to come together and express collective joy. We are partnering with the Columbus Collage Collective to bring you Collage Meets Music April 26th at Dick’s Den 6p-9p happy hour. Come grab a drink, make a collage (supplies included), listen to music. If you’d like to play a short set (5 or 15 minutes) sign up here. Please make sure to pre-register at the same link so we know how many people to expect! Check here for details on our May 18th Self Care Day for artists.

Song Shares

We believe one way to get to the next place in writing is to tell your story. Song shares are informal get togethers where musicians do what they do best and play their songs in a supportive listening environment. Though critiques can be valuable, generally these gatherings are designed to be a safe space to share something new without the pressure or “getting it right”. Click blue button for details.

Under-Served Communities

Baked into the process is a goal of serving communities that are often overlooked. Keeping this in mind with everything we do, we look to amplify voices of the black and brown community by not only providing opportunities for them but to have representation on our own team. We pledge to not only bring music to communities like the elderly but give opportunities to musicians to perform for these communities. This uplifts the musicians and the communities they serve. We have worked in partnership with Story Point Senior Living and are looking to expand into other communities. Tomorrow’s
Success Stories

Some people come in never having written a song. Our workshops work to lift these people up and inspire them to do great things by giving them tools to succeed.

Annual Report

Community Focused

Often times the singer songwriter job can be isolating. Working in a home studio, performing sets with just a guitar, and putting music out their sometimes with little response. Whether it’s a Song share, workshop, or performance opportunity it is all about bringing people together and providing a space to create.
